About Wallingford Professional Firefighters I.A.F.F Local 1326

Wallingford Firefighters IAFF Local 1326 represents the uniformed career firefighters in the Town of Wallingford, Connecticut. We are affiliated with the International Association of Firefighters .

We are comprised of 64 members tasked with the responsibility of providing high quality fire supression, EMS, HAZ-MAT and rescue services to over 50,000 of Wallingford's residents and visitors in over 40 square miles in a mix of residential, commercial and industrial districts. We respond to well over 6,400 emergencies per year.

Wallingford Professional Firefighters operate in three stragetically located fire stations throughtout the town and staff one ladder truck, two Paramedic engines, one Paramedic rescue truck, two Paramedic ambulances and one command vehicle. We also provide fire/life safety, code enforcement and investigation capabilities through the Office of the Fire Marshal.


Wallingford Professional Firefighters are all CT State certified Firefighters, with all being either CT licensed Paramedics or Certified EMT's. Most members hold numerous different educational levels such as NFPA 472 Haz-Mat Technician, Rope Rescue and Advanced Auto Extrication.
